Introducing

Barbara S. Martin, Sensei

 

 Barbara is a Graduate of the University of Georgia she is the mother of three boys. Barbara holds a second degree Black Belt in Shorin Ryu Karate, third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and is a World Black Belt Hall of Fame Member; Barbara Martin is one of the nation’s top martial arts Instructors and foremost expert's on teaching age and ability appropriate martial arts for children.  She is a Martial Arts Industry Association (MAIA) member, training and consulting with other professional martial artists worldwide. Additionally, Barbara is a Certified Instructor and Master Trainer for the S.M.A.R.T Kid's Safety Education Program™ and  President of The Stranger Danger Awareness Foundation, Karate Incorporated's non-profit organization dedicated to teaching children conflict resolution education and

character development. Barbara Martin served as the Treasurer for the Osceola Elementary P.T.A. for the school year 2005-2006 Barbara was also the Home room parent lead for Mrs. Burger’s Kindergarten class as Osceola elementary in Collier county for the school year 2004-2005, and Home room parent lead for Mrs. Parker’s first grade class at Osceola elementary for the 2005-2006 School year.
